So why do another creationist website?

I guess some would be wondering that, especially those who are against the scientific theory of creation (no more or less scientific than the general theory of evolution – both based on philosophies which dictate how someone interprets the evidence in the world and universe). Now how do I explain this one?

Well, I’m a bit different in my beliefs. I’m not a Christian, although I used to be. I’m not a Jew. But I try to live my life by the word of YHWH, the Tanakh (Hebrew Scriptures). This puts me in a kind of conflict with some creationist sites that tend to also claim that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, and he created the universe. For a guy that doesn’t believe all that, and in some ways its quite offensive, it gets a bit irritating to see that. Now some creationist websites don't do that, but some do.

Now it should be noticed that a whole lot of creationists out there (most notably, young earth creationists, the category I would fall into) are Christian.

I also noticed that the original protectors of the Hebrew Scriptures, the Jews, have made a woefully poor attempt to back them up with Jewish creationist websites, giving some more voice to the fact that the scriptures are just as true when read plainly without recourse to the general theory of evolution and the long ages it needs. In fact, a huge number of them have compromised with the theory, claiming that you can believe both Genesis and evolution (like theistic evolutionists). They seem to be ignorant of the naturalistic and atheistic philosophy behind the theory and which is used in interpreting the evidence that they claim shows to prove the earth is very old, much older than the several thousand of years shown in a plain reading of scripture. I guess they think the theory is pretty much proven and so they can add Deity to the theory to make it tick.

If there are any that do believe in a young earth, they seem to be pretty much quiet about it on the Internet. There are no Judaic resources for a guy like me who accept the Tanakh and the plain reading of Genesis, and who can see the scientific evidence that goes with that premise. They are all Christian.

So I thought, if there’s no-one else who’s gonna step up to the plate and make it easier for people of like-mind to find the resources that confirm their belief in a young earth creation, then I’ll do it. Even if it happened that I found some rare person, I’m still gonna carry on being a pointer to both the scriptures and to other websites that really show that there is reason to believe in the Hebrew Scriptures as they stands without having to add naturalistic philosophy to the word of YHWH, which are essentially mutually inconsistent. You can be rational, scientific and still believe in YHWH and the written word in the Tanakh. In fact, rationality and YHWH go hand in hand (just know that his rationale is a lot superior to yours – he had the genius to make everything, you know ).

I also put other links on it to go with my interests too, and to help others who are trying to build a website or wanting to learn a bit of music and just chill. Life isn’t all serious, thank the Almighty!

So here’s my site. I hope it can be of use to you, whether you be religious or not.
